It’s software that helps Public Health organization—organizations, municipalities, and communities—in their efforts to vaccinate and test people. It’s an end-to-end solution, meaning that it handles everything from talking to provider EHR systems to helping patients schedule appointments from their phone or computer.
While vaccinating 500k+ people we found that local pharmacies were the trusted place where patients looked for advice and help during the pandemic. We also realized that our software platform was perfect for helping pharmacies provide more medical services by streamlining the appointment and billing process.
Thus, “Signetic for Pharmacy”, was created. It is a software platform that is focusing on solving the problems that local pharmacies encounter.
Signetic helps distribute vaccines equitably, taking care to build tools that help providers reach overlooked and neglected communities.
We offer online patient registration, an admin web app, and a clinician web app. These are the building blocks that allow our clients to run vaccination sites of all shapes and sizes—mobile sites, walk-up sites, mass vaccination sites, or even efforts designed to visit specific patient segments or cohorts.
Using the manager portal, nurse managers have the ability to manage vaccination locations and appointments. You can manage staff, practitioners, and look into patient reports and upcoming appointments.
Patients can fill out pre-screening questions and book appointments for the first and, when necessary, the second dose of the vaccine by choosing the dedicated time slots that work for you. Links to questionnaires can be public or private.
Patients can get registered on-site. If there’s a slot available, you can contact a staff member, fill out the required information on an available device, and get registered. The whole process takes about 90 seconds.
Signetic features two main applications: First is the manager portal, which gives clinicians full access and ability to manage sites and appointments. Second is the registration application, which can create new appointments and manage existing appointments.
The system is flexible and suits the needs of different clients. It helps to track the number of vaccines delivered in a day and then they can reduce the count in their spreadsheets. This allows the clients to be flexible about where they're taking inventory from as they need it.
Signetic allows clients to add and modify vaccination eligibility questions according to the relevant criteria. Patients can fill out these questions online on-site using the application and an available device.
Managers can create views, cut the data, slice it up any way they want to create reports that fulfills the purpose. The system’s flexibility makes the job easier for the managers and everyone involved.
Signetic takes all that data and imports it so that you maintain records in one central EHR. The system also helps you with operations, like managing the inventory through the EHR.
As of May 27, 2022 we’ve managed the scheduling and administration of more than 550,000 vaccinations. Our web portals and system have experienced no downtime from overload. Additionally, we have a staff working 24 hours a day to ensure the service is operational.
Yes, each site can be set to have a waitlist by default or to fill the waitlist when a site runs out of appointments. Once the waitlist is enabled, patients can submit their information, which will be stored internally. Our clients can then segment the list into the groups they would like to invite into the system. Finally, the clients can create one-time use registration codes to email to specific patients so that they can set up an appointment.
Yes, as long as our clients have a login to IIS, we’re able to submit patient immunization records directly, which means our clients needn’t submit their own forms.
